Commissioned by the Care Concern Group, the development features 64 highquality ensuite bedrooms and sets a new benchmark for modern care design in the region. Its tiered 2.5 and 3.5-storey structure makes clever use of the site’s natural topography, blending seamlessly into the surroundings. A striking mix of black timber effect cladding and buff brickwork creates a bold yet welcoming architectural character.

Inside, Lark View provides a rich variety of thoughtfully planned spaces across three specialist floors: residential care on the ground level, dementia care on the first floor, and nursing care on the second. A spacious café and reception form a lively social heart, while integrated staff facilities support smooth daytoday operations, all located at the lower ground level. Flexibility is embedded throughout, ensuring environments that respond to residents’ individual needs.

Achieving a BREEAM ‘Very Good’ rating, the project combines sustainable design with exceptional comfort, delivering a futurefocused and nurturing care setting for the Canterbury community.
