The proposal will provide a new build retirement community for the over 55’s, with 130 apartments across 20 residential buildings; a Central Facility providing onsite amenity (restaurant, bar, wellbeing spa); site wide care and support facilities and 24 close care apartments; a 75 bed care home for the elderly; plus an energy centre.

The site has a significant slope with the eastern extent circa 11.5m higher than the southwest. The design of the proposal looks to utilise the sloping topography to provide a terraced approach to the development, stepping down the hillside towards the west.
