Oat Hill Mews is the result of a collaborative vision between Frontier Care and Care UK, creating a contemporary care home that enriches both its residents’ lives and the wider Market Harborough community. Thoughtfully positioned as a welcoming gateway into the town, the scheme blends highquality care facilities with architecture reflective of its local surroundings.

Stepped back sensitively from Leicester Road, aligned with St. Lukes Hospital, creates a visually cohesive streetscape. A threestorey frontage transitions to lower roof levels toward the rear, ensuring a respectful relationship with nearby homes. Its façade combines three complementary materials, giving the development a strong, engaging identity.

Throughout, the design prioritises wellbeing. Generous external terraces provide uplifting views across the private gardens, encouraging relaxation and connection. The landscaped grounds are crafted to inspire activity, stimulate memory, and support residents’ overall health, making Oat Hill Mews a vibrant place to live.

The thoughtful design and strategic planning of Oat Hill Mews have been recognised with the ‘Care Home Design of the Year’ award at the 2025 Leaders in Care Awards. This prestigious accolade underscores the project’s significance in the care sector, setting the standard for residential care design and the future of care home environments.
