Designed for Frontier Estates in partnership with Barchester Healthcare, the scheme blends innovation with a deep understanding of contemporary care needs to create a warm, uplifting environment.

A central entrance anchors the building, connecting two residential wings that balance community and privacy. With its twostorey form and discreet staff accommodation set within the roof space, the design harmonises with its surroundings while maximising efficiency.

A welcoming palette of brickwork, render and timber cladding gives the building a contemporary yet homely feel. Oakframed firstfloor terraces provide sheltered outdoor areas with views across the landscape, encouraging fresh air, natural light and wellbeing for all residents. These are complemented by a central courtyard, formal gardens and activity spaces that cultivate a calm, naturerich setting.

Recognised as a finalist for Best Architectural Design at the 2022 Pinders Awards, the project also achieved a BREEAM ‘Very Good’ rating, underscoring its commitment to sustainable, highquality care design.
