Based near Reading, this scheme was provided for Frontier Estates to provide an 84 bed care home alongside 6 residential properties and significant ecological enhancement for the local area. Throughout the design process, community engagement was key and extensive public consultations were held. Community feedback was integral to progressing the proposals, and ensuring local concerns were addressed.

The dwellings range from 4 to 5 bedrooms, and a mix of detached and semi-detached are proposed. Both the dwellings and care home are finished to a high standard, and the design feeds off the local village vernacular. The large mass required for the care home is broken down with a number of glazed links, and the scale is manipulated to ensure a domestic feel.
